- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 pint of your favorite ice cream flavor
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the cocoa, baking powder, salt and flour; stir into the creamed mixture until blended.
- Spread evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven. Do not overcook.
- Let cool before serving.
