- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4 medium)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.
- Stir in the beaten eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the mashed bananas and salt.
- In a small bowl, blend together the flour and cocoa powder.
- Stir the flour mixture into the banana mixture until blended.
- Pour into an ungreased 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until top is golden brown and center is set.
- Cool before serving.
