  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot over cooked meat or vegetables.
