- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot over cooked meat or vegetables.
