Chinese Egg Rolls
Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until browned. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  2. Add the cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  4. Fill each egg roll wrapper with about 2 tablespoons of filling. Roll up tightly and seal with a bit of water.
  5. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
