- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
- 2 pounds ground beef chuck
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and bell peppers; cook and stir until vegetables are tender.
- Add ground beef to the skillet; cook and stir until the beef is browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, oregano and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
