Chili con Carne
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef until no pink remains.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are softened.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), tomato sauce and beans. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Serve with desired toppings.
