- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the popcorn kernels and stir to coat with the oil.
- Once the kernels start to pop, reduce the heat to low and cover. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
- Once the popping stops, remove from heat and pour into a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked paprika and sugar. Sprinkle over popcorn and toss to combine.
- Season with salt to taste and serve.
