Chicken Parmesan …
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in flour, garlic powder and Italian seasoning until blended.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and cream. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in chicken and 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese.
  6. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
