Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and chicken breasts. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt and pepper over the chicken breasts. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add the butter to the skillet and melt. Add in the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the mushroom sauce over each piece of chicken.
