- 2 cans pitted dark sweet cherries
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
