Cherry Clafoutis
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups pitted cherries

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch round baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture until combined.
  5. Stir in the melted butter until combined.
  6. Spread the cherries in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  7. Pour the batter over the cherries and spread evenly with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and set in middle.
