Cheesy Mashed Pot…
Ingredients
  • 3 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Steps
  1. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add butter, sour cream, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper; mash until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stir in bacon bits.
  6. Serve warm.
