Cheesy Lasagna
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
  4. Add onions and garlic; cook until softened.
  5. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste and Italian seasoning; simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Spread 1/3 of the sauce mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  7. Arrange half of the cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  8. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles and top with 1/3 of the remaining sauce mixture.
  9. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake an additional 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
