Cheesy Baked Pota…
Ingredients
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Scrub the potatoes and pat dry.
  3. Poke a few holes in each potato with a fork.
  4. Place potatoes on a baking sheet.
  5. Brush melted butter onto each potato.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise.
  9. Scoop out the insides of each potato into a medium bowl, leaving about 1/4 inch of flesh in the skin.
  10. Add sour cream, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potato mixture; mix together until well blended.
  11. Spoon mixture back into each potato skin. Top with extra cheese if desired.
  12. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
