Cheesy Baked Maca…
Ingredients
  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt and mustard. Gradually add milk; cook and stir until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in 1-1/2 cups cheese until melted.
  4. Combine macaroni and cheese sauce; spoon into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and golden brown.
