- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 24 large fresh mushrooms
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion, celery and garlic until tender.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, bacon and garlic salt. Stir in the sauteed vegetables.
- Remove stems from mushrooms. Stuff mushroom caps with the cheese mixture.
- Arrange mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Serve hot.
