- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing mix, plus more for topping
- 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, and ranch dressing mix. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the bacon crumbles.
- Cook the penne according to package instructions.
- Drain the penne and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Stir together until well combined.
- Serve topped with extra Parmesan cheese and ranch dressing mix.
