Ingredients
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing mix, plus more for topping
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Steps
  1. Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, and ranch dressing mix. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir in the bacon crumbles.
  6. Cook the penne according to package instructions.
  7. Drain the penne and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Stir together until well combined.
  8. Serve topped with extra Parmesan cheese and ranch dressing mix.
