- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Brown beef, onion and green pepper in a large skillet over medium heat; drain.
- Stir in soup and baking mix; mix well.
- Spread mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
