Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheese.
  5. Add the milk and stir just until combined.
  6. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
