- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the popcorn kernels and cover the pot. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
- Once the popping has slowed down to a few pops every few seconds, remove from heat and set aside.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Once melted, add the grated cheddar cheese and stir until completely melted.
- Pour cheese mixture over popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
