- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in the cheese and milk until just combined.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
