Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Stir in the cheese and milk until just combined.
  5. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
