Cheddar Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  4. Stir in the cheese.
  5. Add the milk and stir until just blended.
  6. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
