Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 quarts popped popcorn

Steps
  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add corn syrup and brown sugar; stir until dissolved.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla.
  4. Pour over popcorn; stir to coat.
  5. Shape into 3-inch balls and place on waxed paper to cool.
  6. Store in airtight container.
