- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Stir in cream and simmer for 1 minute more.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
