Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Steps
  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream and simmer for 1 minute more.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
