Ingredients
  • 2 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  2. Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring until well blended.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.
  6. Pour caramel over popcorn and mix well. Place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
