Caramel Apple Cru…
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Spread half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with apples.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, corn syrup and melted butter. Pour over the apples.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
