- 4-5 large apples
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 8 inch square baking dish.
- Peel and slice apples into 1/4 inch thick slices.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, salt, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Stir in the melted butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Spread the apple slices in an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture over top of the apples.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
