- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 24 cherry tomatoes
- 24 small mozzarella balls
- 24 fresh basil leaves
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Thread one tomato, one mozzarella ball and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Place the skewers on a baking sheet.
- Brush the skewers with the balsamic mixture. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve with remaining balsamic mixture as a dipping sauce.
