Buttermilk Ranch …
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips or cubes
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the buttermilk, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken to the mixture and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and set aside. Discard the remaining marinade.
  4. Place the flour in a shallow bowl or plate. Dip each piece of chicken into the flour and coat evenly.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet. Fry each piece of chicken for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
