Buttermilk Pancakā€¦
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and melted butter or oil.
  3. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Heat a griddle or large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Grease with butter or oil.
  5. Using a 1/4 cup measure, scoop batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on top and edges are golden brown, about 3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with desired toppings.
