Buttermilk Fried …
Ingredients
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips or cubes

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken strips or cubes to the bowl and stir to coat.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess liquid.
  6. Add to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve immediately.
