Buttered Greens
Ingredients
  • 2 bunches of greens (collards, kale, or chard)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. Wash and dry the greens.
  2. Cut off the stems and discard.
  3. Chop the leaves into 2-inch pieces.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the butter and wait for it to melt.
  6. Add the greens to the skillet and stir to coat with butter.
  7. Cook until the greens are wilted, about 5 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and stir to combine.
  9. Serve warm.
