Brown Rice Sushi …
Ingredients
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sushi vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. Rinse the brown rice in a sieve until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rinsed rice and 2 cups of water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
  5. In a small bowl, combine sushi vinegar, sesame oil, and salt. Mix well until combined.
  6. Pour the sushi vinegar mixture over the cooked rice and mix well until all of the rice is evenly coated.
  7. Serve in bowls with desired toppings.
  8. Enjoy!
