Breakfast Sausageā€¦
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk, divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until it is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add 2 cups of the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Add the remaining 1 cup of milk and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
