Breadsticks
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  2. Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Roll each piece of dough into a thin strip about 8 inches long.
  6. Place the strips onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
