- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece of dough into a thin strip about 8 inches long.
- Place the strips onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
