In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Stir in warm water and oil and mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume (about 1 hour).
Punch down dough. Knead for a few minutes and divide into two portions. Shape into loaves and place into two greased 9x5 inch loaf pans.
Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes). Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
