- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, butter and eggs.
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Heat a waffle iron and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Scoop about 1/3 cup of batter onto the preheated waffle iron. Close lid of iron and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with butter and syrup.
