Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until well blended.
  3. Spread batter into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle blackberries over batter. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar over the top.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
