- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1 (1.25 oz) package taco seasoning mix
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 to 8 flour tortillas
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Brown the beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain off fat.
- Spread the refried beans in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Top with the ground beef mixture.
- Mix together the tomatoes and taco seasoning mix; spread over the beef.
- Layer with cheese and tortillas.
- Bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
