Beans
Ingredients
  • 1 cup dried beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Steps
  1. Soak the beans overnight in a large bowl filled with water.
  2. Drain the beans and rinse them.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the beans to the pot and cover with water.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1-2 hours or until tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
