Basmati Rice
Ingredients
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 cups water

Steps
  1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer.
  2. Add the rice and water to a medium saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork before serving.
