Basil Walnut Pest…
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps
  1. Toast the walnuts in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
  3. Transfer the pesto to a bowl and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Cook your favorite pasta according to package instructions.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce.
  6. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.
