Banh Mi
Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. cooked pork, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 3 baguettes, cut into 4-inch lengths
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, fish sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger to make the spread.
  2. Cut the baguettes in half lengthwise and spread the prepared spread on each half.
  3. Layer pork slices on top of each half and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  5. Serve sandwiches warm.
