- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork.
- Stir melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in flour until just blended.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), or until a tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
