Banana Nut Bread
Ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork.
  3. Stir melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  5. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in flour until just blended.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), or until a tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
