- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 bananas, mashed
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, egg, milk and melted butter.
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in mashed bananas and chocolate chips.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
- Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
