Ingredients
  • 2 cups cubed banana bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  3. Cut banana bread into cubes and place in the greased baking dish.
  4. Pour egg mixture over the banana bread cubes and stir gently to combine.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the french toast bake.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
