Baked Beans
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. dried navy beans
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. Soak beans in water overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse beans.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, dry mustard and salt.
  5. Add beans to the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Transfer beans to a 2-quart baking dish.
  7. Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Uncover dish and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender.
