- 6 strips bacon
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar and salt until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- When ice cream is almost done churning, add in bacon crumbles and chocolate chips.
- Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
