Ingredients
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Steps
  1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar and salt until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. When ice cream is almost done churning, add in bacon crumbles and chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
