- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 12 ounces beer (any kind)
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Add the beer and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the cheddar cheese and bacon.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
