Bacon Caramel Pop…
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup bacon fat
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter

Steps
  1. Heat bacon fat in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add popcorn kernels and cover with a lid.
  3. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
  4. Once the popping has slowed, remove from heat and pour into a large bowl.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat.
  6. Stir until the mixture is bubbling and thickened.
  7. Pour caramel over popcorn and stir to combine.
  8. Sprinkle with bacon bits and mix again.
  9. Spread onto parchment paper to cool.
